I might be mistaken but I think just enabling "widescreen" on GZDoom 4.5.0 fixes those issues?

For the title graphics and map screens, yes, but not the weapons and hud.

Andrews PBR is pretty much compatible with All Hexen mods, like Brutal Hexen RPG, Wrath of Cronos, etc.

I am curious to see how it works with scattered Evil and Korax.

I just tried the new Hexen HD with gzdoom and it is graphically amazing! It's as close as it gets to a modern remake!

My only gripe is that it doesn't recognize my original Hexen CD Audio either in physical form or as an ISO with Daemon Tools virtual drive, as it seems to bypass it and only features various enhanced Midi Devices to choose from in the sound options albeit with improved music over the original 1995 midi sound track.

So is there a way to play Hexen HD with the original CD-AUDIO music from the original CD or via an ISO mounted onto a virtual CD Drive in Daemon tools?!

Or at least if CDDA isn't supported in GZDOOM and HexenHD, perhaps then there is a way to play the original CDDA tracks as converted mp3 tracks at 320Kbit or FLAC files placed into some folders or another similar way?!

Thanks in advance!

You can also use Xeotroid's Hexen music covers if you'd like.

Just did a Mage playthrough with it, was a lot of fun!
Though I did feel a bit overpowered in the vanilla maps haha.

Good to hear, feel free to post your experiences and suggestions in the main topic; I always take heed of them.

Yes, you should probably always play the vanilla campaign in Difficulty 4 or 5 to slightly make up for it (though I'm gradually adding more elite monsters to go with the new Hexen bosses). The same applies to doing Vanilla Doom with most mods (lol).

Can someone please tell me how to install everything so my version looks like this?
I downloaded all the files I found and created a separate Hexen directory, and put the latest GZDoom files in there, and I get errors, or else it looks like the "standard" version of Hexen without the enhancements.

Help!!!! Thank You!

Please check that your separate Hexen directory:

1) Does not contain spaces in full path and name
2) Does not contain non-English characters
3) Does not located in desktop or desktop subfolder
4) Your windows username does not contain spaces and non-English characters in full path and name

If you dont have above "problems", then post please screenshot of your hexen directory here

Also, what files you execute? Gzdoom.exe or bat files?
