Since I first mentioned it in the Samsara thread because I'm not sure if this is a Samsara issue or the way Corruption Cards works (and I almost forgot to comment about it here), I wanted to mention that very heavy mods that use a CCARDS lump such as Samsara that regroup a very large amount of monster actors causes performance issues such as very long map loading times, and even significant framerate drops in certain areas of maps. It seems like this is due to a ton of scripts running or something, but I can't necessarily confirm what exactly the issue is. All I know is that the CCARDS lump inside the Samsara ReMixer uses ungroup on all of the default monster groups and excludeactor, and then regroups a massive number of actors (around 40 each) into 20 different groups. It seems the sheer number of actors being regrouped is what's causing the issues, because as I removed more and more of them from each monstergroup, the map loading speed and overall performance started increasing. Just wanted to see if there was any other way to optimize this, because it takes around 15 seconds for each map to load if I run Samsara Reincarnation and ReMixer with Corruption Cards.

If you e3m4 and then changemap+ the game crashes.
I picked the Phantom augment and a creature with a seeking attack had the projectile follow me for the rest of the map.
For some reason, removecard CCard_Paranoia is showing an error in the console. CCard_MonsterRailgun does too. I am loading my custom list before the main mod and all other removecard lines seem to work but those.
I wish the thin enchant was appropriate for the sprite. The hitbox becomes noticeably smaller than the sprite.
Ran into another crash. This time with https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/level ... aconofhell

I get the card shuffelling message, I can't find it, I even use IDDT multiple times to reveal the entire map and still enable noclip.

Huh ! Great mod, really helps to add some twists here and there to make things freshier or even completely unrecognizable
Playing in hardcore/chaos mode and "blindly" (after playing with "regular rules" only once) choosing cards that stack and give super crazy experience past 15 map is very very funny (and sometimes painful) at same time. . .
But I did some oopsie, I guess
Looks like typing "restart" in console (GZDoom 4.10.0.0) clears your compendium... And records on different gamemodes...
ouch !...
And the question is... How can I at least have my compendium with 160+ unlocked cards back ?

Well, you can do the following:
1) You can edit a .cfg file and add card names that you miss manually;
2) You can use "debug mode" but it doesn't return cards you miss back to the compendium;
3) You can use "changemap" command over and over (after you choose a card for the level) until you get enough cards.

A new version to address the issue with 4.14.0 and some other crashes.
I've started a new Doom project so the flow of cards has slowed. I consider this mod my "retirement mod", something I will continue to update when I don't have anything else going on and I have fun ideas.
- Added 1 new card.
- Fixed a crash with the latest GZDoom version (4.14.0)
- Fixed a crash with The Ancient One.
- Fixed a crash with Lock On Teleports.
- Fixed a possible crash with Chain Resurrections.
- Banana Peels affect monsters more frequently.

So, I think fixing it for 4.14 might have broken it for... every other version. Crashes on startup in versions at least 4.10 - 4.13.2. 4.14 breaks DRLAX (think this might be a change in error handling though), so I'm sticking with 4.13 for now.

Quick update to fix a crash with earlier GZDoom versions:

- Fixed compatibility with GZDooms prior to 4.14
- Fixed a certain Wild Card being permanent when not selected as one.
- Fixed a debug message appearing when it shouldn't.
