Raze - Cheat codes

If you're stuck at a certain point in a game, need a quick way to reproduce an issue, or want to go deeper into testing, this post will document the cheat codes available to Raze. Most are inherited from the various source ports Raze has included code from (such as EDuke32), with a few new ones unique to Raze.

These cheat codes are known to work with Raze. Both console and typed-in cheats are listed here. For completeness sake, codes from the original games that might not work in Raze are listed as well, in case you want to try the original in DOSBox or with a different source port.

Most of the documenting of these cheat codes came directly from the source code. Please post any corrections as needed.

(Note that for Blood and Shadow Warrior, there is no way to enter codes using "T" in text - using the "activatecheat" ccmd in the console should work around that, i.e. activatecheat "lara croft" - however, "Doom-style" cheats ie "dnkroz" will work fine)

FORK BROUSSARD          - (Not in Raze) Drunk mode, no weapons (does nothing in 1.21)
CLARICE                 - Half Armor
MPKFA                   - Invincibility
CAPINMYASS              - Disable invincibility
NOCAPINMYASS            - Invincibility
I WANNA BE LIKE KEVIN   - Invincibility
IDAHO                   - All weapons and full ammo
MONTANA                 - All weapons, full ammo and all items
GRISWOLD                - Full armor (same effect as getting super armor)
EDMARK                  - Does a lot of fire damage to you (if you have 200HP and 200 fire armor then you can survive). Displays the message "THOSE WERE THE DAYS".
TEQUILA                 - Guns akimbo power-up
BUNZ                    - All weapons, full ammo, and guns akimbo power-up
FUNKY SHOES             - Gives jump boots item and activates it
GATEKEEPER              - Sets the you cheated flag to true, at the end of the level you will see that you have cheated
KEYMASTER               - All keys
JOJO                    - Drunk mode (same effect as getting bitten by red spider)
SATCHEL                 - Full inventory
SPORK                   - 200% health (same effect as getting life seed)
ONERING                 - Cloak of invisibility power-up
MARIO                   - Warp to level E M, e.g.: MARIO 1 3 will take you to Phantom Express
CALGON                  - Jumps to next level or can be used like MARIO with parameters
KEVORKIAN               - Does a lot of physical damage to you (if you have 200HP and 200 fire armor then you can survive). Displays the message "KEVORKIAN APPROVES".
MCGEE                   - Sets you on fire. Displays the message "YOU'RE FIRED".
KRUEGER                 - 200% health, but sets you on fire. Displays the message "FLAME RETARDANT".
CHEESEHEAD              - 100% diving suit
COUSTEAU                - 200% health and diving suit
VOORHEES                - Death mask power-up
LARA CROFT              - All weapons and infinite ammo. Displays the message "LARA RULES". Typing it the second time will lose all weapons and ammo.
HONGKONG                - All weapons and infinite ammo
FRANKENSTEIN            - 100% med-kit
STERNO                  - Temporary blindness (same effect as getting bitten by green spider)
CLARICE                 - Gives 100% body armor, 100% fire armor, 100% spirit armor
FORK YOU                - Drunk mode, 1HP, no armor, no weapons, no ammo, no items, no keys, no map, guns akimbo power-up
LIEBERMAN               - Sets the you cheated flag to true, at the end of the level you will see that you have cheated
EVA GALLI               - Disable/enable clipping (grant the ability to walk through walls)
RATE                    - Display frame rate (doesn't count as a cheat)
GOONIES                 - Enable full map. Displays the message "YOU HAVE THE MAP".
SPIELBERG               - Disables all cheats. If number values corresponding to a level and episode number are entered after the cheat word (i.e. "spielberg 1 3" for Phantom Express), you will be spawned to said level and the game will begin recording a demo from your actions.

20 - dnclip      - Noclipping through walls (careful, this is crash prone in build engines)
21 - dnweapons   - Give all weapons

25 - <none>      - Ends current episode
26 - dncgs       - "Come Get Some" - God Mode + All Weapons/Inventory/Keys

FYI, that feature still needs to be reimplemented. But considering that the console pauses the game when down it's a lot more convenient to enter cheats there. I had to cross-check a few things yesterday with BloodGDX and I died several times when entering the cheat codes while the game continued to run without input... "Annoying" would be an understatement.

Uh...you can hit "Pause" key to pause the game to input cheat codes, even on original games. Unless BloodGDX/Raze disabled in-game pause.

Well, the chat display needs to be ported from GZDoom anyway, once that's up again it can also be used to enter cheats. But it's not the highest priority.

I noticed that DNDEBUG still states that it dumped a 'debug.map' file ingame and in the log.
However, the call to 'saveboard()' has apparently been removed in the corresponding function, intentionally I'm guessing, so it's not actually dumping a map.

Pressing shift and tilde gives you access to the games console, and allows you
to warp between levels. By typing the below command for levels 1 through 5.
