King of Fighters 2002 is free on GOG for a little over 30 more hours.

Supposedly the included emulator is complete trash, but allegedly you can just pull out the ROMs and use them in MAME for a better experience.

Dead Space is available via EA Origin's "On The House" program, for a "limited time" (not sure how long that means).

Again?
Afaik that was the first game they gave away via On The House, if it hasn't changed, then you can get that game and keep it in your origin account forever.

...IF it hasn't changed.

Why does this "on the house" deal feel like someone like Hannibal lecter giving free meat to the public?

It's the same sort of deal. The only catch is that it's via Origin, but Origin's pretty inoffensive nowadays as far as digital distro clients go.

Dungeons 2 is up at GOG for 48 hours.

Hitman 2016 Episode 2: Sapienza is free until April 3rd, and you keep it if you download it before then. Seeing as Sapienza is the best part of a really good game, you'd probably be a bit loony not to add it to your library while it's there.

Not sure how to do this - I already grabbed it during the holiday pack promotion, "Install Game" just launches that one.

According to Steam user Trashboat, if it's not showing up in your DLC list, go here and click on the green "Free" button in the top right corner to signal Steam to install Episode 2.

[edit] You may also have to uncheck the box in the DLC list to make the game realize it needs to download more.
