The Imp Coliseum

Post by Lioyd_Irving »

Hey, Lioyd here. I've been playing Cyb's Imp Arena, it was cool but had one big issue(or at least, what I consider to be a problem) : the map was WAY too SMALL and weren't much of an arena, which somehow killed the gameplay. So I released this. I've took all the time required to completely revisit the original one. It was originally posted at the DRDTeam forums, but I believe nobody at all was interested in playing it. Plus, some modders stick to the ZDoom forums (such as Doomero, Leileilol, Project Dark Fox, DBThanatos, etc. Or at least they seem to.)

It features :

-a bigger, better map;
-MUCH, MUCH more Imps - but since you all have 1337 machines(i have a piece of junk), it shouldn't cause too much lag :P
-a skybox;
-slightly improved DECORATE weapons;
-a brand new interface;
-MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT;
-some extra scripting by me;
-and much more.

You'll need to scroll down a bit. The link expires after a few seconds.

Have fun ! (or else) :wink:

I have no idea why nobody is taking advantage of Googlepages for their file hosting. None at all.

Anyway. This isn't...really a project, dude. It's a tiny mod of someone else's map. And stuff.

Didn't know of that.

Anyway, you could also try to make some constructive criticism instead of killing my post for no reason.

I never did such a thing. If making a totally neutral note on a typo counts as killing your post for not having constructive criticism in it, I'd suggest brainstorming to find out if maybe something else is "killing" your post.

You criticized something that has nothing to do with the wad itself. Even though I made an error in the title(i'm not english), i don't think it really matters if the wad is good.

He told you how to correctly spell a word, I would consider that contructive...

It doesn't matter...unless you want me to re-release it with the correct word...
