Just one question: how do you make the buildings destructable? I would like to know because I'm thinking of destructable map layouts.
Huh-what?
All the wrecked buildings in my maps are pre-made.
Since this thread came back to life, here's a screenshot of some touchups I've been doing to one of Wills' maps.

HEH. Seeing the shading on the <!> icon, I actually think it, too, is a sort of an item.Unknown_Assassin wrote:1st screenshot: Is the purple diamond supposed to be an item?
2nd screenshot: Why is there a <!> in your screenshot?
Other than that, it looks awesome.
This may further enhance the arcade-style Kinsie's aiming for.
Still looking forward to this.
ED: Using DOORTRAK for the buildings in the skybox actually is a neat effect, makes them look like they're much larger than they should be. I'm reminded of the skyscrapers in the SNES version of Shadowrun.

Yeah, they're items.Unknown_Assassin wrote:1st screenshot: Is the purple diamond supposed to be an item?

The Purple diamond is the Instant Army. It lets you throw Commandos into combat like grenades, for a bit of backup.
The red "!" diamond is the Personal Space Retriever. It's the repulsor from Heretic, pretty much.
