Removing a bit

Is there any way to remove a non-Dehacked standard bit from a thing? Specifically, I'd like to remove the BOSS bit from the Cyberdemon so that the Wraithverge is effective against it.

Maybe you can start a new Dehacked actor, and set his flags to "default" (insert default vars here) plus remove the ones you do not want.
