is WadAuthor old yet?

ive been using ye olde WadAuthor for a long time now and ive noticed that its slipping...the last WCF i got was back in the 1.23b days... any updates?

or should i kick the can and learn to use something else? because i really want to use the really cool stuff like patches on flats and scaled texes and all that cool stuff...

does WadAuthor have source that somebody could rewrite to be ZWadAuthor or something?

Will i ever regain my sanity?

Simmer down! Wadauthor's not dead yet... the author has some real-life situations to take care of before he gets to FINALLY update Wadauthor. Oh, I wish he could make it free...

As for the Wadauthor source, that is something I have heard recently, but it may or may not be released.

As of now, use ZETH (free) or Deepsea (shareware).

Well, we all made our own updates. But mine is specific to my mod, and I haven't updated my default ZDoom one for a while now but it does have some 2.0 stuff.

At the moment, the WA code is not open source AFAIK.

is WadAuthor even being developed anymore?

if not somebody could email the WadAuthorAuthor and request the source code...
(throw a little thing about "how hes so great and you wish you could share his greatness with all the doom community and keep it fresh with cool" or something like that)

and who was it that wrote WCF files again?


AND if anyone has a WCF for ZHeretic and a ZHWadConv PLEASE TELL ME! :)
