[IN PROGRESS] Boss Kombat

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

[IN PROGRESS] Boss Kombat

Post by Juan "JacKThERiPPeR »

Hi. I'm back because I've had several problems in Arcades3d as you may have seen. So, excuse me if I have offended anyone in the previous thread of mine. Really, I'm sorry.

Ok, I thought of this kind of Boss Kombat, where bosses from different games battle each other with an army of their correspondant minor enemies (for example, for tchernobog there should be cultists, as they're in Blood).

Does anyone approve this idea? It's something for boredom, but maybe I can extend it to something better in some future.

And as for the boss selection, I thought a kind of selection menu would work, but I don't know how to do it. Does anyone have a clue?

I have an idea. I think Projects threads should be started only if there's something to show like graphics or screenshots.

Heh. Sorry about that.

Maybe I should start making it. What boss would you suggest me anyways?

Just start with something simple, like the Cyberdemon.

Yeah, Cyberdemon. And then maybe Hitler or Hans Grosse for Wolf3D since conversions of those enemies are generally readily available (Hell, they already did the SS for you.)

Then do the Mastermind. Then Do D'Sparil. He could be tricky, as there are two forms, one for when the serpent dies. this may cause the game to announce his opponent as the winner, even though he rises again to do battle.

After that, do Korax. If you could come up with something to use his script for, that would be cool.

This sounds/looks quite interesting. Boss battles are always big fun to look at, I don't know why :P

...If this becomes true, I would only play this mod to BLAST HIS FACE OFF HIS HEAD. And I really dislike him, and Borat sounds a bit silly (it isn't even in my Fire Fox "Internet-Grammatic-Book"-thingy (with the red underlines and stuff). What would he have as his "Helpers"? Super-Dane Cook?
