Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!
If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.
We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Map designer names always on?
So i recently decided to test some of the official iwads on the newest gzdoom version and i encountered something strange. whenever i finish a level the name of the map designer always appears beneath the name of the level despite me not using any option to activate it. what's even stranger is that it happens only in any iwad that isn't doom 1 or 2 (ei tnt/plutonia ecc) and i can't seem to turn it off. anybody has any idea?

Just to be clear, are you saying this happens with TNT and Plutonia, but not with Doom1 and Doom2?
And can you also confirm what you mean by "Newest version of GZDoom" - what version number? (It should be displayed in the bottom-right of the console. You can activate the console by pressing the key to the left of 1 / under Esc on your keyboard (unless you have a non-qwerty keyboard.) There is the potential for confusion there too.
Anyway, it's certainly not happening for me in any of those four IWADs. I don't think it's anything in any of the GZDoom support files either (e.g. gzdoom.pk3) I'm aware that some other ports have this on by default as a feature. My best guess is that you are loading a mod that does it. Again, check the console. It should tell you what mod files have loaded. e.g. this is my console output that tells me all that I am loading (i.e just the IWAD and some GZDoom support files):

Re: Map designer names always on?
This happens in Wadsmoosh, and there is no way to turn it off outside of editing it in mapinfo. To be honest it's never bothered me though - I like knowing who designed the maps I enjoy the most.
The definitions required to make this happen do not exist in the actual iwads though, nor do they exist within vanilla GZDoom. This is a feature specific to wadsmoosh for now.
