I'm on the hunt for mods that give other games the Brutal Doom treatment. By that I mean mods that make the weapons feel extremely punchy and powerful, make enemies more dangerous, and of course add ludicrous amounts of gore.
Here's the list I've compiled so far:
-brutal half life
-blood: extra crispy
-quake 1.5
Do any of you know of any other mods for other games in this same vein?

Heretic and Hexen both have Brutal Doom-style mods.
Brutal Heretic RPG and Brutal Hexen RPG both take a lot of the same elements of Brutal Doom and add them to these excellent fantasy FPS games while also adding more prominent RPG elements.
But if you're like me, you'll probably just NOT use the HD textures patch. I just think the neural AI upscaled sprites look blurry and oftentimes the graphics look only vaguely like the original versions.
And with Brutal Hexen, there is a special patch that allows one to combine Hexen and the Deathkings of the Dark Citadel expansion into one single campaign BUT you have to either send the creator a private message or get it from their Patreon.
And a lot of the Heretic megawads I've tried worked like a charm. And before you ask, I've only tried Heretic Treasure Chest, Hordes of Chaos X, Masters of Chaos and Tenebrum.
