A Translucent PolyObject has One Less-Translucent Line

A Translucent PolyObject has One Less-Translucent Line

I've noticed something working with PolyObjects and Translucency: One line will remain less-translucent. In this demo I have created, this appears on the red texture side. :?

I wanted to point out that this is still happening. I made a new picture where you can see that two lines of the polyobject are irregularly brightened instead of just one.

It seems that the placement of the startline(s) is very sensive to how the polys are drawn. I tried many combinations, single lines, diagonal lines and finally came up with those 3 startlines

Give this one a try, I ran the pwad with most of the recent versions of GZDoom, with no ill effects showing

I also found that adding 4 lines to the center resolved the 2 line transparency issue from the picture. Unfortunately, it also induced a bug where other transparent things have these "ripples" from poly lines going through them. Most notably would be the hedges in front of the house. I made a short video:
