Re: GZDoom 4.12.0 released
I see that the old loading form has been replaced with a mostly black screen with a small dark brown progress bar. Is there a way to customize this screen?

You can use the hexen startup screen, but its not very flexible.

Is there already a wiki entry on how this startup screen can be customized?

No, if you want custimization you still need to use the Hexen startup. The new one is merely a fallback for when nothing else is found.

Can you specify what these lump names are? It would really help. I just had a quick look through Hexen.wad and I couldn't find anything.

Re: GZDoom 4.12.0 released
Thank you Enjay for pointing that out. I wasn't sure that was what I needed when I saw it earlier. Another question though: Does anybody know what this graphic from Hexen is?

As it says in the wiki, it's called NOTCH. That's the lump name.

It says that Hexen uses part of a graphic which are called 'notches' but this is not an actual lump name.

From the wiki:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1u6fms6f ... urtx2&dl=0 here's an example. These are the lumps from Project Absentia. Replace them with your own and it should get you started. Any PNGs should work with recent GZDoom versions. The loading notch is 16×23 (184 bytes) and called NOTCH and the netgame waiting notch is 4×16 (32) and called NETNOTCH.
