Been having a blast with this one great way to play some map packs, Love the Alt fire variety and mechanics and the limited arsenal, the fan service is a nice little touch too!
I've been playing it with player respawns and fast monsters it makes the mod pretty interesting, just wondering do you have any recommendations on any specific gameplay settings to go along with your mod

Really like this mod! Theming is great, and I really like the character and the tone. The outfits are so fun, and I love the little musical stings that come with them, super creative (especially Changing Keys for the Gameshow outfit and the Bewitched theme for the classic witch). I also really like the easter egg integrations with Versatile Factions (which is a super fun monster pack in its own right!)

Besides graphical stuff in GZdoom (Check out the troubleshooting in tips n tricks). You can always try it out with enemy mods such as Angelic Aviary and Versatile factions. I'm always trying to balance the tomes so that they're all viable. Some are intentionally more difficult to use than others (Safety and Quick tomes being the least orthodox), but they might need more power. I might add a parry mechanic to the safety wand alt to make it a little better (It will shoot a strong railgun attack when parried correctly). The bear-ier was buffed to lure enemies to it, but it needs a change. The plan is to turn it into a voxel (once I figure out how to do it in doom) and have the player be able to shoot through it while the bear-ier absorbs incoming damage. The quick wand grants both speed and immunity to pain sector (Which I need to figure out how to convey to the player). I might up the damage of the quick cards, the fox is a hitscan missile and showstopper (quick rings) is the most powerful ability in the game as you can attack enemies frozen in time.
I'll probably increase the ammo cost of Texas tome wand and cards, they're designed to be really powerful but very ammo heavy. I want to add a slowdown to the player's movement speed when using the Texas rings to make it feel more the like a mobile turret and to make it slightly more risky to use.
Right now, the ring upgrade replaces the BFG (Which eliminates the windup animations and reduces ammo consumption). I have an idea for a BFG weapon but I'm still trying to figure out how to implement it.
Again. Thank you for the feedback. I'm currently working on an update so hopefully some of this stuff will be improved.

Thanks for getting back to me, I've actually been playing it a lot with your Angelic Aviary, they both work great together and have been really fun, it also kinda inspired me to look into doom modding and add more statue like player death states based on different damage types from base doom and Angelic Aviary, happy to hand them over if you'd like
Loosing weapons and keeping style points seems fun, I've yet to try the current pistol start as I'm always getting curbed stomped, I gotta give it a go soonish
I know it wasn't in reply to me but seeing your plans for rebalancing some of the tomes, having the shield wand parry would be great, maybe for the pain sector immunity colour the edges of screen green like when you get the rad suit/green heels? I don't know if that's possible or not
I do feel like the cards take a bit to long to reload sometimes but that's just me being dumb
