I must say that i loved these monsters. They are extremely well made and look very, very 90's-ish! I'm awed that I never found those bad guys before. Congratulations!

I found this thread via "underused good sprite assets" thread on a different forum, and I must say they are right.

That's a nice little collection of similarly themed sprites. It's good to see them getting some use. Design-wise they give me a bit of a Quake4 vibe (which is a good thing IMO) but in a 90s rendered and sprited way.

It would be interesting to see some of them before they received their cyber-bits (the Blade Monkey would be particularly interesting IMO).

I definitely found use for the Hindring monster.

That is great stuff there, Deon! It is always nice to see people putting my stuff to good use :)
The Hindring behaves just like I envisioned it, jumping around!

And yeah, you guys are right, 90's all the way, baby ;)

Your monsters are the primary type of inhabitants for "lower corporate levels", which are supposed to be abandoned labs with half-cyborg mutants. I am so happy you made those, it makes it much easier to build my hobby project :).

P.S. Here are your monsters in really amazing map.
They are gorgeous.

Yes - they were hosted at DRD Team, which is presently in the process of being moved to a new host.

Ah, I should check the announcements forums more often. Thanks for letting me know.

Great stuff. I worked the Grells, Harkubi, Hindrings, and Wargrins into a resource mod I recently created:

Elo!
I've fixed the links in the first post. Sadly I removed the two weapons and the Quake Vore, maybe I'll upload them later.
There seems to be something up with linking stuff over from DRDTeam, so I've hosted those sprite sheets on my blog at Blogger.

And I absolutely LOVE  what yous all are doing with my sprites, I'm like rejoiced mates :D
