Only bumping this as it's in the "Closed Bugs" section, but this is still an issue. Not sure if one more hack needs applying. It's sad that it can't be reworked...lowskill. wrote:Can confirm.mjr4077au wrote:Just on this instead of making a new thread, the sliders work, and the slider's values are held in config after closing and opening, but when re-opening the HUD goes back to 100%.
It seems the values themselves do get saved, but after restarting the game the status bars look like they reset to the max again. Sliding left or right causes the size to change visually directly to the new value (from 100 instantly to 70 if I save it on 75% and move the slider left for instance).
Curiously, the text scale seems to be remembered just fine and doesn't get reset visually upon restart.

Can confirm. If the status bar scale is changed, it is remembered (say, 60 in my case at hand), but after loading a map after restart it gets reset to 100 unless the slider is moved to left or right, in which case it jumps back to the correct value visually.
This needs even more glue to stay together... and it kinda reminds me of SW's status bar issues that were remedied a while ago. Perhaps a similar fix can be applied here by re-initializing the status bar at map load?
