You can request it directly on the spreadsheet. I'm pretty sure if your email is similar to your forum account in some way, I believe that Graf will see your message here and know who you are.

OK, I'll send a request there. My Gmail address has my nickname in it, so I hope there won't be any problems. Thanks.

Hi. To avoid confusions with "several unconnected people editing same doc", I suggest you to discuss such things with me in PM, and I will update the results in engine google docs. Let's continue in discord PMPlayer701 wrote:The Russian translation for the "Drop weapon" gameplay option is incorrect. It can be translated back to English as "Keep weapon after death", which is obviously wrong. Perhaps the translator confused it with the "Keep weapons" coop option. I would like to correct the translation, what should I do to get editing access?
Also, we have channel in my discord server regarding Russian translation/voiceover discussions, so I can add you here if you want
P.S. I fixed it: changed W1433 to "Выбрасывать оружие после смерти"

All right. I can see that Graf approved my request, but since the change has already been authored by theleo_ua, I don't have to do anything now.

I really need to get done with Raze's 0.7 release to have time for GZDoom - but as things happened we had two successive weekends with great weather here so I obviously spent most of these days outside instead of working on the computer.

That's fine! Gotta make the most out of the nice weather before winter kicks in. Speaking of Raze, will it have a localization project similar to GZDoom? I'm out of stuff to translate now!

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to h
Since we're getting ready for a 0.7 release of Raze, there's time now to think about localizing its content as well.
While most of the menu texts have been taken from GZDoom there's still a lot of content in the supported games, albeit even combined it is far less than what GZDoom has accumulated. The overall amount left to translate is roughly 1500 lines of mostly short texts - there's a few longer ones for Exhumed, but it's only a handful.
If anyone wants to help, please raise your hand, the languages would be the same set we managed to compile for GZDoom.
In addition, if someone is interested in extending the fonts, help is also welcome there.
Last but not least, some of Duke's texts, like the end of episode screens have the text burned in into the graphic. These, of course, also may require some handling for the other languages.

Let's do it. I'd like to help once again with the Brazilian Portuguese version.
BTW, were the Duke3D translated strings pulled from the official 20th Anniversary World Tour version? Just so I might keep them that way if that's the case.

Yes, I added everything I could get from it but it was only a limited section of maybe 120 of the altogether 2000 lines of text. What's currently there in the PT row is existing texts from GZDoom or World Tour.

Cool! That means that German and Portuguese are done. Unfortunately for the other languages there's currently only people working on Finnish and Romanian.
So if anybody is interested, please come forward!

The French strings have been corrected in places, optimized in others, and completed for the new strings. They should be mostly error-free for now but native speakers are invited to check them out to make sure.

We were talking about Raze, not GZDoom.

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to h
Important announcement:
It has become somewhat of a chore to mange large parts of duplicated content between the files for Raze and GZDoom. In order to clean this up and make it easier to use I am going to lock both the Raze and the GZDoom engine strings sheets so that I can reorganize their content and clean it up without having to deal with others editing the files at the same time. Once everything is done, the reorganized data will be added to the GZDoom Game strings file, so that everything is in one location, and the common texts for the menu are only present once.
