Mythbusters special

Watch Adam Savage Take On ‘DOOM’ In This Preview Of The ‘MythBusters’ Video Game Special.

http://uproxx.it/15UCJ9n

In this special episode dedicated to the hobby near and dear to our hearts, we’re excited that id Software’s own Tim Willits will be helping Adam and Jamie dig into an often-discussed topic of FPS games: Is it really possible for someone to carry all those health packs, guns, and even a chainsaw? Using the DOOM universe and DOOM 3 BFG Edition for reference, Tim helps the team recreate a DOOM level in real life.

Why does Hellsmith1 keep making threads? I get that they are all separate topics but the frequency sure makes it seem like he has nothing to actually talk about. Also doesn't help that the post is pretty much just a copy/paste. :|

You know how sometimes people get smacked down for treating Off-Topic as their personal Livejournal? I think we're seeing the first instances of someone using it as their personal Formspring.

I was wondering about the topic too but I was just gonna talk about it in "what did you last do".

I liked the episode. My biggest problem is really the lack of Grant & crew in this season, but they probably have bigger fish to fry.

Spoiler:

so who will be the one brave soul to turn them into replacement sprites for all the weapons along with the map and their one-liners? :P

Or maybe do a mod which will show all weapons the player carries as sprites on his body, similar to the show. :D Though that would be "useful" only for multiplayer...
