Looks bad compared to Mr Head's Safari.
Kidding. Love the art, love the style. Love the guns, Love it.

Outstanding work. The production values are off the charts. The music, the graphics, the level design, all of it. Truly magical.

Re: Supplice - Out now on Steam!
Just wanted to drop by to say Supplice is outstanding in every way - graphics, weapons, enemies, story, etc. My personal favourite aspect of the game is the incredible maps. I've only completed 3 maps and already I feel I've got my money's worth. Really looking forward to playing the rest that's available now, and I'll be waiting eagerly (but patiently!) for the remaining episodes as they are ready. Please don't rush, and keep up the absolutely sky high quality you have here. Supplice is easily an early contender for my GOTY 2023.

Look forward to purchasing and playing! Gotta say, I was reading some of the steam negative reviews and... while 1 or 2 are reasonable, man, I can't comprehend a bunch of their opinions... some of it seems like baseless hate, I mean some people played for literally less than 20 minutes before they decided to bomb it... yeesh, the plight of a game dev lol, much respect

Yes!
Purchased last night and enjoying every minute of it.
Absolutely gorgeous visuals, beautifully smooth and simple gameplay and the audio and soundtrack is nectar for the ears.
Highly recommended.

Every single update to this thread and to the game is lush and beautiful. One of the strongest art directions in the entire boomer shooter genre, much less in the Doom scene. I haven't seen any indication in the demo or in the store page (I might've missed it and my work VPN blocks Steam), but I am curious: is there any intent to the voice the MC or are you folks going for a silent protagonist?

There's not much in the way of voice work in the current version beyond effort sounds and the "nuh-uh! nope!" sounds when pushing walls, but they have a Steam news post about the actress/model/stuntwoman they bought in to do the voice so I wouldn't be shocked if there were a few more words down the line.

I've only played this for a bit (via Delta Touch on my Retroid Pocket 3+) but so far it's so excellent.

Thanks again for all of the continued support guys!
I don't think we've talked much about it lately, but the original concept was to just stick with a silent protagonist. But that could change in the future.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Either way, I'm excited to see where the story goes; games using Marathon's narrative style are few and far in-between.

Re: Supplice - Out now on Steam!
I bought Supplice a week or so ago and been playing it; just wanted to add my support. I love your game a LOT!
My booby-trapped brain doesn't particularly enjoy breaking the action to read terminals, but that's of course an easy work-around for later playthroughs once I've gotten the story. And the story is good, btw. I'm a little concerned that it will be a bit too close to Doom's story (albeit much more detailed) or that it will be a little cliche for my tastes; I have a few guesses at what's going on in my head and I'm hoping the more obvious ones aren't correct. But there's still a lot to like about the story so far and the writing is good regardless. And anyways, the story has never been the highlight of a great Doom-style game anyways, so not a top priority for me.
Music is ofc great as always Sound is very atmospheric and engrossing! Some of that background screaming & shouting seriously gave me chills.
Sprites & textures are beautiful as hell (heh)!
And the maps are well-designed and fun to explore! The only downside for me is certain levels had poorer performance.
And ofc we can't forget the great monster & weapon behavior designs as well as the programming! And everything else that isn't obvious from contributors! Thanks for all the hard work everyone
This game might get me to finally get off my ass and try out some mapping.. feels like everything's been done already for Doom, so this might be a nice opportunity to get on the boat early for what I hope will be a game with a great community!

Don't know if this gets read haha, but just wanted to say I played EP 3 that came out recently and had a blast. Only problems for me were map 1 had sorta choppy performance and map 5 was too confusing objective-wise. Other than that, great as always Thanks for the hard work!
