[Release] White Light: 2010 Edition

White Light 2 wasn't coming, so for my warm-up project of the summer I present you this instead!

This is essentially what White Light should have been. Gameplay is worlds more interesting (different enemies on each wave as opposed to there just being greater numbers), the annoying "everything goes red" moment has been cut, Justice has been put in (with ranged alt-fire) to get use out of it and make the map play differently, the scripts are cleaned up... There's a huge number of changes in 4 hours or so. I'll keep the old version about as a seperate release due to the 4 year age gap but I'd consider this version the greater by far.

I'll hold off the /idgames upload for a few days as I've only tested this a few times to make sure it all works. A user-trial is probably all it needs now! Enjoy :D

Right - a fair few downloads, plenty of page views and no complaints - as co-op would mostly work but has a couple of limitations, I'm willing to leave it untested. So with that, /idgames upload it is.

A good bit of fun, though a bit short, but it's intended to be compact. I sort of thought the monks might be in more than one wave, but otherwise the Aeon variants were a nice improvement over the original, and the Ether was pretty cool. Good stuff.

There were so many ways I could have handled this, in the end I decided to keep it one species per wave. I do hope to make a proper level with these resources one day, as the enemies seem to form a reasonable collection.

As an aside, I checked co-op - it does indeed work. Most waves seemed easier, but for some reason the Aeon (now going solo) actually proved more effective than it had done on it's own.

Yeah, I know these posts are abandoned. It's just I've played all the wads from Doom WAD Station and WADs In Progress sites, so I'm scouring these forums for old released projects...
