Yeah im just starting with Paint Net and editing,plus its amazing what a slight surface blur will do,now if one would be able to make the colours the same on the knife cutting hand, I tried putting the witchhaven sprites into a new handset to make another version but the knife was too smal

His right arm looks a little odd :/
Its like he has a white arm and a brown arm lol he kinda looks half american/half african

Sorry I wouldn't really call that smoother, just blurry. In fact you ruined it somewhat as now the background around the sprite is blurred. Also his arm hair is blurred in with his skin and now it looks like he has really wrinkly arms. Although, I don't mind the gloves too much but I don't think it's really needed.

My biggest problem with the sprite is that it's physically impossible to hold a knife like that. Try it. You simply can't twist your forearm in such a way that you can both hold a knife and see the top of your forearm where the hair usually is.
A few minutes of work in Paint.net and I feel I have something that appears more realistic.

yeah thank god snarboo fixed it. hehheh, it looked like doomguy had broken his wrist and turned the hand 180 degrees
