The insane people that try to smash two mods together are pretty amusing, though, because sometimes you'll actually see a combination that shouldn't work, yet does. Like the guy that managed to run Urban Brawl with WWHC-Diaz. =P

That kinda reminds me when you said urban brawl, another good one and i forget what it was called but someone tried to simulate super smash brothers in doom. It was pretty decent, just splice up a few things and you have something thats fun as hell.

if it has not been already said beautiful doom was a great mod. some of the new sounds, such as blood dripping, were annoying but other than that it was simply stunning
i'd post a link, but i can't seem to find it

For the smooth weapons mod, add the SSG muzzle flash to the WAD and stick the 4 sounds into a /sounds directory in the pk3.

Why, you ask?

So now you can use IDKFA in the original DooM trilogy and get a fully functional, smooth-looking SSG. :)

An old, vanilla (mainly) levelset for Doom I. Hard as hell, but one of my favorites.

The Beginning of the End
Part I
Part II

Part 1 is completely vanilla doom2.exe compatible. Part 2 claims to require Boom, but seems to work in any 'limitless' port.
