Autosaves are saved automatically, but other than that I fail to see what's different about them.Hirogen2 wrote:Is an autosave specifically different from a manul save invoked via F6? Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
Now the question is whether the next release will be 2.3.1 in a couple of months (minor improvements and some bugfixes) or 2.4.0 in a couple of years...

Well... you can still play co-op with a tiny work around.

Wait wait, I've seen this as early as gzdoom-~~svn210 (November 2008). Trying to reproduce with 2.3.0.Hirogen2 wrote:Is an autosave specifically different from a manul save invoked via F6? That's not plural, it's the possessive form. Don't you kids learn anything in school these days?!tubers93 wrote:Btw the plural is Tubers'

Maybe he meant autoloading a save game, which would imply a different method from normal loading and not a different type of save file.Hirogen2 wrote:Is an autosave specifically different from a manul save invoked via F6? 'Cause reloading from manual saves seem to work for me.

Only if there's more than one Tuber, though.HotWax wrote:That's not plural, it's the possessive form. Don't you kids learn anything in school these days?!tubers93 wrote:Btw the plural is Tubers'

Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
I understood his post as saying that the singular of his name is Tubers, not Tuber, hence the apostrophe after the S rather than before.
Kind of like my high school Spanish teacher, Mrs. Owens. You wouldn't write "I took Mrs. Owen's chalk." You'd write "I took Mrs. Owens' chalk."
... Pwnt.

HotWax it's obvious that none of this would be a problem in the first place if you weren't such a dirty thief. Give the poor old woman back her chalk.
EDIT: To get this thread back on topic, would the plural of Tubers be Tubers or Tuberses? Tuberssssssss

And "tuberculosis" gets a totally new meaning.

Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
But technically, looking back at the post, Tubers was referring to a possessive use in the first place, just mistakenly referring to it as plural.
