Vischeck is back up, but apparently the 'site' version doesn't work on this forum. But you could always screenshot it.

Not anymore. I get redirected to the lunarpages main page now.

Heh, I just tried as well. It seems color-blind people can't see images, tables, or styles.Risen wrote:Quit your wondering! http://www.vischeck.com/
...actually, the site seems to be inaccessible. Well, it was a good idea...

At least in prosilver, most everything is done with CSS. I'd say lack of CSS parsing is the problem.HotWax wrote:Heh, I just tried as well. It seems color-blind people can't see images, tables, or styles.

Their image checking utility seems to work a lot better.

Looks good this phpbb3. Nitpick being that "Profile" now got an overlycomplex Windows-like name: "User Control Panel".

Did you by any chance notice that the 'user control panel' is a superset of the user profile.

Seems to me that the new name makes sense.

Oh... my... GOD. That's like, SO, last Windows version. Like, get with the times...Risen wrote:Hey, at least it doesn't say "My Preferences."

Vista removed the "My" from the front of everything (Thank goodness), so "My Computer" is now "Computer", "My Documents" is now "Documents", etc..
So I guess if it really bothers you... upgrade.

Re: Site move in progress
You don't need to upgrade. All you need to do is right-click the desktop icon or from the windows start button icon and say rename to whatever you like. There, it doesn't bother you.Hotwax wrote:Vista removed the "My" from the front of everything (Thank goodness), so "My Computer" is now "Computer", "My Documents" is now "Documents", etc..

with the side effect of not having to deal with vista at all, a big plus in my bookUnknown_Assassin wrote:You don't need to upgrade. Problem is, it doesn't actually rename the folder, so you're downloading to a "My Documents" which happens to be accessible through a shortcut with a different name.
