It's good that we're starting to see these in-world UIs making full use of render to texture. :D
Well, while we're showing off rendering to canvas textures, here's what I did with it. Dynamic blood stains on the player model (this was posted in my Quake clone thread, too). Whenever you kill an enemy in close proximity, a set of blood stain decals are randomly chosen and just pasted on to the player texture with randomized positioning and flipping. This effect was inspired by the aesthetic in Metal Gear Solid V.

oh damn, that's some clean work y'all!
i've got some stuff ive been working on myself...
using a very slightly modifed (to change some math relating to coordinates and normals) masked reflection shader from Marisa the Magician's Doomreal (with permission!!), i've been slowly working on making the models in my mod just a bit less dull
and, after that was said and done, i decided to make light fixtures be breakable because, well, why not?
i've got some stuff ive been working on myself...

I was finally able to get Blender 2.83 up and running
and my ammunition research is almost over.
now....
what would happen if we join the 3 weapons of the NGSW program.
Well, the gun I'm building feeds its twin chambers with
triangular "telescoping" ammunition,
uses a BullpUp configuration
and will have M16 controls.
I'm trying to leave out as much detail as possible
so I can add a lot more weapons in the same time period to a complicated model.
Also, once this weapon and its ammo catalog are finished,
my Gameplay Mod will be revived and reset.
This and other 3D weapons and the restarted project
will be available and I will update it whenever possible.
