IF there is going to be a later version of zdoom .96x or just .96 i have a few suggestions...

1. The ability to play multiplayer splitscreen on 1 computer.

2. Using DECORATE that has the ability to edit objects that already exists.
and
3. More CodePointers?

ok....

1. Why? It makes it better, and you can play it with friends.

2. I was hoping for that.
and
3. What you mean?

2. This is already possible. Just inherit from the original, give it the same editor number as the original, and then change whatever properties you want.

3. He means "more codepointers" is nowhere near enough information. What specific new codepointers do you want?

Why is Doom Legacy the only port with it implemented? Answer: Because 2 players on 1 keyboard never works out.

ACS is alpha and omega for feature-rich mods.

Unless you feel like editing the source code directly, which is more difficult. Much more difficult. Love ACS, ant, it's your friend.

----! A 3-5 button mouse with wheel is enough!
Also some people use joysticks (VERY awkward compared to mouse)
Therefore : 2 players on one keyboard not required.

2 people on 1 keyboard is better than having to buy another computer to have a 2 player game offline.

I almost got ZDoom to play splitscreen by networking 2 instances with the local IP address.

Only problem was getting the joystick to register properly when the window was out of focus.

No, he doesn't.

2 people on 1 keyboard may be cheaper. However, cheaper != better.

If both players are accustomed to the now-standard mouse-and-keyboard controls, one of them is going to have to miss out. This is not "better".
