This is currently my favorite launcher. Very cool! :D One question: is there a way to change the loading order of mappacks & addons/mods? I would like to load some mods BEFORE the mappacks.

You could always instead of highlighting mods in the map section, just drag them from there onto where all your other mods are, that way you can change its load order.

I would need some volunteer who has Steam Deck and knows how to compile C++, i don't have capacity to install new operating system for software development.

Pretty much what mamaluigisbagel have said. Earlier i had plans to allow customizing load order of map files in relation to mod files, but i scratched that when i realized how complicated the code would become and how marginal this use-case is.
So i went back to an inferior, but much simplier mechanism, that you can simply drag the file from the map list and drop it into the mod list, and then you can select an order.

I've got a deck - and I would love to help if needed.

Do you know how to compile C++, though? That was the 2nd requirement :P

Nope! But, I’ve been wanting to get familiar with it since I want to learn to do some development.

Just did a quick Google and found this Reddit thread for compiling C++ on the deck. Nothing there I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable doing.

1.7 is out

Main highlights are
  • Explicit dark and white theme that works on Windows 10.
  • Ability to select different storage (preset or global) for different groups of options.
  • Highlighting invalid file/directory paths with red text.

Aside from all the errors I couldn't read upon first starting it up, my first launch of 1.7 was....questionable. Luckily going and setting the application style to Fusion fixed it, but still. This seems to be a problem with the windowsvista app style with the dark theme.

And what exactly do you want to search? Pressing the first 2-3 letters on the keyboard while the Preset list is active should make it jump to that preset.

To me it feels really janky, and I would really like if it was stored, to give me some time to think. Just a tiny field under the presets section will do, if possible regexp would make it even better.
