Well, not all Hell species are gonna have a "fight!" reaction to danger, some may go for a "flight!" one, or perhaps a more symbiotic relationship (or potentially parasitic, even), in real life wildlife works like that too, and since it's a growth more than anything (with some Caco-like characteristics I guess?) it's gonna be perhaps a bit more fungi-like? not sure lol, oh well

oh and a centred version because why not?
Hey, do you happen to have these two sheets in .png? The ones you posted seem to have turned into a .jpg with time.

I think looking at the player works well. Kind of a "maintain eye contact to establish dominance" creepy staring thing. Image

Methinks you'd be able to find versions of these both in HDest and Nobody Told Me About ID....

Blink frames would help make it feel like it was alive and staring at the player.

My guess and it is only a guess, after a certain amount of time has passed the image host automatically converts images to jpg in order to compress the images and save space.

P90 sprite i made mostly from scratch for my Hideous Destructor mod: Peppergrinder.
The sight is heavily modified from a photosource provided by an IRL friend & the gunflash is based from the vanilla shotgun's flash sprite.

Do you want me to render out the hammer head in the very same animation as the axe? It should be quick job, I still have all the source files.

Admittedly I have never owned nor used a sledgehammer, but that grip looks rather wide, to me. I don't think it would be meeting its damage or range potential if swung while grasped so close to the heavy part. Though certainly it would be easier to carry while not being swung.

Having used one to break up a concrete floor - albeit without training - picking up and raising it tends to happen with the hands further apart (easy to lift) then the top hand slides down so that both hands are closer to the bottom for the powerful hitting stroke.
