This is a companion mod for DRLA which adds extra options to the blueprint spawning mechanics. You can customize how frequently assembly blueprints will appear and what method to spawn them in. By default, DRLA blueprints can either appear by replacing the Computer Area Map (which a lot of modern maps don't bother adding!) occasionally, or very rarely a dead marine prop will drop one. This mod allows them to show up in supply crates, which are commonly found in maps when playing DLRA. You can also give boss monsters a chance to drop them, or guarantee the first boss monster in each level to drop one. Finally, you can manually configure what assemblies you PDA has learned or not learned via the options menu.

I made this mod so I can have some fun with the option in DRLA which makes you unable to craft a weapon you don't know the assembly for. Once you know every assembly, you can go after the optimal weapon path every run, which can make the game a bit stale (once you've sunk as many hours into DRLA as I have). By clearing your PDA at the start of each run, and allowing more frequent blueprint drops, you can have runs where you may not be able to craft the optimal weapon setup and have to rely on whatever blueprints the game has given you.

So, the purpose of this mod is for people who:
  • Are new to DRLA but find the Assembly Blueprints too rare and want to increase their drop rate slightly (or massively, your choice!).
  • Want to reset their PDA and play DRLA in a way where they can only craft weapons if they've found the blueprints in game.
  • Just want to cheat and learn all the assemblies without finding them :P .
