[UPDATED] [FIRST MAP] Hakros Complex

Hi everyone, i've been playing doom since 1996 but never had made any map before, so i'hope you like my first attemp.

My friends have not been able to finish the map, maybe it is so difficult for them but i know that in this community there a lot of hardcore players and maybe they will be able to reach the exit.

It's a mix between standard and slaughter map.

Better play in vanilla mode, because with mods you can have performance issues.

Hi guys, i've update the map with the suggestions of doomworld testers (special thanks to Helm for his suggestions)
I've reduced the number of specters and increase the light of some areas because were so dark.
I've also reduced de number of enemies to 5.000 and i've duplicated the secrets to 60... :-D !!

Hi again, new release 1.5, i think this will be the last one.

Now the map it's fully playable.

well I downloaded the wad version. and came up with a bunch of missing textures. guess ill try the standalone?

well I got to the outside area, went though this gate where the yellow key door is. and I got locked in. no switch to open it back up. had to no clip out of there.

also when I goto the outside area, the "HAKROS COMPLEX" logo keeps popping up

Also is there anything in the mainframe area I should be concerned about? any switches? I see none

I have your map themed with my horror setup build, it fits the bill so far

This is because the map requires the OTEX textures pack that are included only on standalone version

Thats the normal behaviour, that door will close when you go throught it.

The Mainframe is specially designed for the cooperative part, but if you come back when you have advanced further in the game you may find new things.... :D !!
