[Sprites] Alice Jameson's Sprite Resource

Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:11 pm

I'll be posting my own sprites and edits here. I hope you'll find some use in them. :) Just give credit.

Working on some new DoomGirl sprites to eventually replace my old ones, this time working off a different base. Progress will be a bit slow but I'll post updates when I have something to show.
Preview with DoomGuy (left) and my old DoomGirl (center) for comparison to the new one on the right:

Very nice job, looks much better than the existing female marine sprites there were. I added to my resource collection dictionary.

Very cool!

You should see if this could be added to Skulltag as one of the skins included with it. It's missing crouch sprites, but some of the ones already in Skulltag don't have any either. All it would really need is proper sounds.

Thanks. I do have some fitting sounds for her already. I'll consider seeing if I could get this added to Skulltag.

Edit: Posted over at the skulltag forums. We'll see what happens. :)

Very cool stuff, well done, especially the Doomgirl. It's the first one that looks actually convincing!

BTW, would you mind doing a Jazz Jackrabbit or a Hocus Pocus variant of the hanging Keen? :D

Thank you. :D
I suppose I could try giving those a try. I'll see what I can do.

I was expecting something like that to happen once those graphics became resources :|

... So? That's what happens with resources.

Those doomgirl sprites just need crouch frames now

In regards to the Keen replacement sprites, may I make a suggestion:

Why not have a hanging marine as hanging enemy? I admit, it would be a bi sadistic given the context, but it would be one of those situations where you have no choice but to kill them (out of mercy and necessity) since you need to exit the level that way.

Somebody's already done a hanging marine. Can't remember what mod had it, though.

From NeoDoom. The death frames are shitty, though, so I'd recommend doing them on your own.
