[UDB] Sector Ambient Sounds?

Post by Graaicko »

So I am wondering if there is a way to use global ambient sounds within a selected sector? And when the player leaves the sector the ambient will fade out or fade out into another sector that has a different sector ambient sound. I am pretty sure this doesn't exist by default, but could something like this be possible?

Some sounds I have currently emitt via object decorate, for example I have a generator sound object I would place near or on a generator I created within the builder. These are how most of my ambient sounds are utilized. Some ambient sounds that are "scenic" I would like to be global, but in my maps the player will transition from outdoor areas to indoor areas and if the global outdoor sound still plays, it wouldn't work for me.
