Add Reward of 1 when picking up medikit, armor or ammo

I am using ViZDoom to create a reinforcement learning agent which should be able to play human-like. Since I want my agent to not only have a reason to kill other players but also to take up items, I want to add a reward of 1 when picking them up. I don't have experience in scripting in ACS or doom in general and the tutorials I read did not mention anything related to picking up items. Can someone help me with that?
