Ubisoft is giving away Watch Dogs 2 to those who missed it during its livestream.

Note - Watch Dogs 2 won't show up in your Uplay account straight away.

Beneath a Steel Sky has been free on GOG and other places legally for years now, but now it's also on Steam if you lust for that serotonin hit that only adding another game to your miles-long backlog can bring you.

While codes last, you can score a free copy of Rocket Arena (the EA-published indie multiplayer game, not the great Quake mod) for Origin or Xbox (PS4 may be out of codes?) by bouncing over here. Choose a platform, click Codes & Promotions, then Promotion Questions and enter the promo code LETSROCKET. Log into an EA account, and when it asks you to create a support ticket, enter LETSROCKET into the subject line and issue fields.

Meanwhile, from August 7-9, the original Quake will apparently be up for grabs on the Bethesda.net launcher to celebrate Quakecon @ Home. Quake 2 may also be put up for grabs after the event if they raise a sufficient amount of money for charity during the event. Keep your eyes peeled.

Not sure this is a glitch or not, so get in quick, but you can currently get the Xbox 360 port of Ikaruga (which runs on Xbox One) via the Argentinian Store page.

GOG are giving away The Witcher 1: Enhanced Edition for another 10 hours or so. For like the fiftieth time.

From the dead game walking files, but free is free: Complete a single match in Quake Champions during QuakeCon @ Home (August 7-9) to unlock every character for free.

Epic's new freebies are the well-regarded Wilmot's Warehouse and the abysmal looking 3 Out Of 10 Episode 1: Welcome to Shovelworks.
