This is simply the cartoon stars blood replacement from Stylish Hell Restyled, repackaged as a universal blood replacement mod.
It can be a hassle getting a particular monster to bleed the correctly coloured blood. Mods such as Nash's CBlood provide a convenient solution you can chuck in your autoload, but what if the map pack you are playing right now has a custom palette that changes the hue of the cacodemon's blood on its death sprites? Do you tear apart your autoload for this one map pack? Or do you shove more patches into your load order to counteract the stuff in autoload?
This mod aims for a simpler, if less realistic solution; instead of accurately simulating a monster's vital fluids being spilt, it shows a generic indication that damage has been dealt that looks the same for all enemies, regardless of organic/inorganic, natural/supernatural.
Please note:
-This mod uses ZScript to stop monsters leaving wall blood decals, and thus requires modern GZDoom to run.
