Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Controller problems on Batocera

Post by hera »

Hi, I have 3 problems when playing gzdoom on my bartop arcade cabinet emulator that runs Batocera:
- Everytime I open doom, the controller support just disables itself, and I have to enable it everytime I want to play
- Doom recognizes all of my two joysticks but they act the same way: it is not possible to assign a certain key to the second joystick because, for the game, the first and the second joystick are the same one
- I don't think this is a gzdoom problem but I'll ask anyway: is there a way to disable joystick acceleration? I find very hard to aim because for a split second the joystick sens is really low, but then suddenly it spikes up.
If I have to specify some infos there's no problem, let me know :D
