deathmatch map packs without height/lifts, etc?

deathmatch map packs without height/lifts, etc?

Hiya,

I'm a blind player of doom, using the toby doom mod. The main way we are able to play doom is using custom maps made by the mod's creator, with mostly flat maps, no lifts, no drop offs, etc. I'm wondering if anyone can find/recommend a deathmatch map pack with flat maps that I and my other blind friends could play on?

@MWTab - Hi Michael! One of my team members saw your post and told me about it. Most Doom deathmatch maps usually have varying heights and complex architecture. As of right now, the Toby Accessibility Mod Mega Deluxe Map Pack does have multiplayer starts for cooperative mode. My team and I will look into expanding multiplayer support in the future. I can't guarantee it'll be available in Version 7.0 but we'll see what we can do. In regards to deathmatch maps, I wouldn't mind designing those levels for you and your friends. How many levels are you thinking of? I can produce 10 if you'd like.

Thanks so much for replying! 10 levels would more than fine. I mainly just want to play with deathmatch to see what's it all like, so I don't need a ton of maps. Again thanks so much for the offer, I would love some accessible deathmatch maps! :-)

@MWTab - You're welcome :) I completed 1 map, so far. I've been taking inspiration from some of the old 90s style deathmatch levels I remember back in the day. I, too, may take some inspiration from DWANGO levels as well. Ill keep you posted when everything is all put together. My schedule is a bit cluttered at the moment but, I should be able to find time during the week to work on a level or two.

@alando1 Any update on this? Feel free to take your time, I'm just super excited to try out deathmatch haha. I'd take a partially completed pack to test if you had something like that :P.

@MWTab - Hi Michael. So far, I have 3 maps done and I'm in the process of working on the fourth. I don't mind giving you what I have. Once I complete the fourth map, I'll put them all together for you to check out.
