Sorry, I'm new to all this, but I can't seem to unpeg the border texture of 3d floors?

So when I make a 3D floor or ceiling move up/down the border texture does not move with it (basically like for a 3D floor door moving up/down).

It says it's unpegged, but it's not working.

I can't find any information on this.

Along the same lines, I'm having trouble aligning border textures of 3D floors with surrounding regular floors. When I have a mix, A/Shift-A/Ctrl-A for alignment creates odd results. Manually offsetting can't be the way to achieve alignment I suspect, but I don't understand how it must be done. I've read a lot of documentation regarding textures, but nothing touches upon this exactly.
