Having a blast right now, there are only few quality of life that could be implemented at this point
One necessary I think would be a guidance arrow or something like that for remaining items, because it's very frustrating when you miss one or two items, especially in large maps, and makes the effort of picking up all items almost useless
This could be solved by adding a guidance arrow that points out the remaining items, when a player get 90% of them for example, or some kind of sprites on the automap
A similar thing could be done for secret sectors if someone got the majority of secrets, but that's secondary to me

PS: Also about compatibility with other mods, if you're interested in that, green spheres aura monsters lags the game incredibly when this

Say, Can I play this with RPG mod only? Not with any extra like RLA and Lexicon?
Just in case for reasoning. I like RLA but I have a bit of dislike in Lexicon hubmap. Just wanna have... Vanilla doom (maybe with other gameplay mods) and doomRPG. Don't really know the difference between yours and sumwunn RPG though. I may also not post compatibility or bug in here; considering if I can play that way, it's not designed for the mod.

Of course you can only play DoomRPGs. And use other mods that are compatible (not RLA and Lexicon)

I'm back to play DoomRPG SE Rebalance. But when i try play using LZDoom with your new version of mod (August 2023 version) using DoomRLA Extended 1.0, Launcher v1.3.1 or the most recent i get errors and don't load.

Before you created for me a modified file to play with 0.9 version. Can you create please a modified file to play with 1.0 version and new version of the launcher?

And with most recent Launcher version i only can use version 1.0 of Extended Version. In version 1.3.1 i can use 0.9.

See if you can create please a file to use with the most recent version. If not, ok, i will need to play without Extended or play the version of July 2023.

A quick question.

Does DoomRPG HAVE to be launched via its own launcher? Or can I just take the wad file for DoomRPG alongside whatever else it needs and run it through ZDL?

because when I went to download DoomRPG and looked, I noticed several mods it came with, mainly things like Colourful Hell, DRLAX and others were out of date while I have the regular versions and I do not know enough about the launcher for DoomRPG to update the files there with the up to date ones I have, not to mention I play other mods as well so having a launcher for DoomRPG is redundant.

While it's not recommended to play DoomRPG without its respective launcher, you certainly can run it with your preferred fork of ZDL. Just make sure your load order is similar to the one shown in the "2.png" image found in the "Extras (Load Order)" folder.
Also, DoomRPG runs as a folder, so don't worry if you don't find a wad file for DoomRPG itself, just drag and drop the folder in ZDL and the launcher will know what to do (most of the time).

You can update most of those files on your own, however, some of the newer versions are not compatible with DoomRPG right now, like DRLAX 1.1 (keep using DRLAX 1.0 for now). Remember to make sure your load order is similar to the one shown in the "2.png" file.

Redundant or not, I strongly recommend you to use the designated launcher.

Update 1.33:

- update DoomRLA Extended 1.1c compatibility patch (thanks to DRouve; need more tests);
- update Corruption Cards 5.1c compatibility patch;
- added Mikk's Champions compatibility patch (fixed minor bug).

Hotfix #1:
Update DoomRL Arsenal Extended 1.1c compatibility:
- added Trespasser's scan item perk in DoomRPG crates system;
- added new items in shop/locker (some items can only be found on maps, but you can now sell/save them);
- fix: now cursed dagger takes away health up to 10 according to the description.

Hotfix #2:
Update DoomRL Arsenal Extended 1.1c compatibility:
- added Mod Extraxtor in Outpost (need Rank is 6).

Hotfix #3:
- now character save function can save "Map Level" and "Danger Level" (need new game, old characters will not load);
- increased experience for clearing maps and for hacking Crates.

Hotfix #4:
DoomRLA Extended compatibility:
- fixed a bug when weapon modifications were lost after using the "Save Character" function;
- the new HUD elements are now tied to the DRPG-DRLA HUD (for Bunker and Tresspasser).
Phase Sisters:
- fixed bug when sister's HP was not counted correctly after swap;
- now the sisters have split EP values;
- sisters now restore HP/EP together when they level up or interact with restoring elements in Outpost;
- now saves both sisters' inventory when using the "character save" function;
- fixed a bug where it was impossible to restore armor in Outpost.

Hotfix #5:
DoomRLA Extended compatibility:
- fix: new interface elements did not disappear when opening the DoomRPG Menu (for Sarge, Trespasser, Bunker).

Warning: do not install this update if you do not want to start a new game.

I took the time and did it.

Just turned off features that LZDoom doesn't support.

Use it only at your own risk.

Just copy this into the DoomRPG folder (where the patch for DoomRLA Extended is located) with these files replaced.

I have a problem with the latest version. Somehow the Baron of nightmare’s projectile textures are some chick without a bra. That’s disgusting! Sorry about yelling at you. Can you fix the textures?
