The link on the main ZDF page still says the latest is 3.87a.

Hi,

About the future... I have seen on github that your new (beta) version is 4.5.
Will you change the numbering for the new version? Is this to match with GZDoom numeration?

Best regards!

Since 3.87 - LZDoom has shitty performance for me. I did not change anything in the settings. GZDoom 4.5.0 - 4.6.0 works much better for me than GZ 4.3.3 and newer versions of LZDoom (in new dev-assemblies everything is also very bad)

You've done the same many times. Why do you bump an old news thread to complain about performance? 3.87 was released in october 2020 and now you come saying that performance is "shitty". What for? For me it's the same as always, i've just compared versions and 3.87 is even faster but must be due to different options.
I was going to abandon the branch some time ago but somehow i continued and now there are a bunch of fixes and even a few new features in devbuilds.

To be honest, it is difficult to understand due to the clutter in the forum. I've been using the same settings for a long time. But new builds of LZDoom work shitty for me. However GLES performs much better than newer versions of LZDoom.

What is difficult to understand? The port has its own thread. That said try with the same version of the mod and the same ini, else how would you know?
But in the past you said that different devbuilds very close each other and with minimal changes between them were either very fast or very slow when compared.
Also if you're using the GLES renderer on GL 3.3 or higher it's not surprising that is faster since it's a cut down version of the renderer.
But if you want to continue this discussion don't post your reply here but in the port's thread.
