Powerslave Compatibility?
I ordered the european CD version of powerslave (exhumed) on ebay, will that work with raze? If not, how can I get my hands on an american disc? Thanks.

It should work.

The only difference between those games' resource files is that the American version is missing 6 sounds, everything else is 100% identical.
But don't expect too much from Exhumed/Powerslave support in Raze yet, it's still quite buggy. It's getting gradually better but isn't there quite yet.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind.

I think it's 10 sounds, but all of them are duplicates of already existing sound effects.Graf Zahl wrote:The only difference between those games' resource files is that the American version is missing 6 sounds, everything else is 100% identical.

PCExhumed and by extension Raze will also show a different title screen depending on which version is loaded.
Interestingly though, both title screens are in the ART files of both versions, so in principle either version could show them.

I'll probably make it a user option in the future which game's assets to show. The code for both is already there.
