August 20, 2019 - no new images may be uploaded on TinyPic.
August 29, 2019 - hosted images will no longer be viewable on 3rd party websites. Because we are an anonymous hosting site and therefore cannot provide notice by e-mail to our users, we have opted to replace all hosted images with a temporary message directing them to this notice.
September 16, 2019 - last day for TinyPic account holders to access their accounts and download their images.

Re: Tinypic closes, you may want to move your images
I remember some time ago having used Tinypic very actively, specially in a spanish forum where I participated some years ago (I was the second administrator in charge of it) and it was a reference then, my favourite one, because Imageshack (and other ones) sucked a lot.
But that was before these Tinypic guys started to make nonsense things and then removing hosted images randomly and without notice... So it was time to encounter another alternative for image hosting, and fortunately Imgur showed its face then in a timely manner. A site that started pretty simple and has persisted until now, although it's quite bloated of content for my taste; but still better than Tinypic without any doubt.
So then, hasta la vista Tiny... It was cool while it lasted.
