So, the opening seems to be a large tech-urban location.
Will any worlds in D:tGS3 have a tech-Urban theme?

There will be cities, there won't be tech-urban levels. They're not my favorite so I feel like i'd force myself to design one.
Besides, I like keeping the tech stuff UAC related.

How do you do collisions for the boats and umbrelas? Invisible 3D floor?

This really reminds me of Traverse Town from Kingdom Hearts. Were you at all inspired from it? It looks great by the way.

In some cases I used 3D floors, but for these umbrellas all I needed were a bunch of Bridge actors.

Have you ever thought of doing some goreless death animations? There's a mod called No Ultra-Violence: An Anti-Gore Mod by Pompous Seed that replaces the gore with cartoon effects which I thought would fit for The Golden Souls.

While I see your point I prefer to keep the blood like standard Doom, it's already cartoony enough on its own

Oh my, jumping across skyscrapers. Now that's the thing i thought i was getting in the "UAC/City world" in Golden Souls 2.
Good to see it's finally coming true.

This looks really good.

When i load this mode,i see a colorless level.Using latest GZdoom.
