As much as I love doomguy (and frankly who doesn't love doomguy lol) it's always fun having a little graphical variation now and then, especially when it involves badass gals
These skins are compatible with most source ports including my favorite, Chocolate Doom
Skinfo:
Spoiler:
Doomgirl: There's already a few doomgirl skins floating around but I wanted one which looked like an actual tough army girl.
This reskin consists of Captain Ventris's player sprites, non-hairy-armed weapon sprites (with a little polish added), Alice Jameson's mugshots, quake 2 sounds in doom format and a marine friend with slightly better AI than gzdoom's default marines (use "summon marinefriend").
Zombiegirl: I made this as soon as Sigil came out, I wanted to play as a marine who was killed in the uac invasion and went to hell, and is fighting their way out.
The hand sprite base is from Blood, with a few edits by dzierzan and gaa1992. The player sprites are by Melodica, and the hud face was made by me (chuck me a pm if you wanna use it in your own mod )
Typhon: What more needs to be said, it's fucking Typhon. This is a more extensive reskin, replacing a few item sprites as well as the hud. Skulltag weapon sprites/sounds are included as well.

Chocolate Doom wad loading help for first-timers:
Spoiler:
Create a new text file and write "chocolate-doom -iwad Doom2.wad -merge Doomgirl_01.wad" and save it as "doomgirl_loader.bat".
Stick doomgirl, the .bat file and your doom 2 iwad in the chocolate doom folder, run the .bat file and Bob's your uncle.
Extra files (such as maps) can be added by adding "-file *insert map name here*.wad" before the -merge part.

I love things like this, though I admit I am not too fond of the Quake 2 sounds as I believe they are a bit overused for this general type of project. Do you have any plans to do any other skin types in the future?
I was considering using Sonya Blade voice clips but stuck with the Q2 voice as they have the "authentic oldschool id" feel. I'd be open to replacing them with less overused sounds, as long as they're doomy enough lol
I'm in the process of making a Doomgirl skin for Smooth Doom, and I've got some really basic sleeved scientist arms floating around I should make a proper skin with
DSJUMP isn't in the game by default so I won't add a jump sound, although i do want to make an enhanced doomgirl mod at some point with new weapons and stuff, so I'd definitely include a jump sound in that.
Just load it after bdlite and everything should work fine.
most of the arm sprites are from this mod: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=37064
The only thing you used from my mod was the face, and that was made by Lynn Forest, Xaser and Alice James, so if you credit them you could upload bdlitef as your own addon I'd suggest you clean up the chainsaw a little tho as it's all over the place. Also I don't think you need all the casing sprites in there, so you can delete them and save a bit of file size
