Just a quick question...
1. Is the decal setting handled by GZdoom only
or
2. Can a mod / TC deny the display of decals even if they're enabled via the GZdoom options?
I'm currently on the newest GZdoom and I noticed that the shell casings dissapear on the ground. I noticed that with the btsx_e1.wad in conjunction with GZDA-RC1-B5a.

Re: Decals in GZdoom
Shell casings on the ground are not part of the decal system, and are entirely controlled by the mod. As for wall markings and bullet holes, a mod can choose not to display decals for individual actors/puffs/weapons. Newly defined weapons do not come with a "default" decal, so it's entirely possible the mod in question forgot to define any.

Thank you for the clarification.
Ps. I still enjoy the hell out of your DIAZ mod.
