ZDoom Test Front-End

Post by Galaxy_Stranger »

Can I get some feedback on this?

32bit Windows: http://robodoom.com/ZFL_build_2018.08.19.7z
  • MD5 Hash: 77a3e5201b986556869d1a87b3f6c775
32bit Linux: Not packaged yet
Requirements: Minimum screen resolution of 1070x721
Features:
  • All command-line switches made available in GUI form
  • Easily host and join games
  • Readily displays outward-facing and local IP addresses for game hosting
  • Easy import and organization of PWADs
  • Easy handling of demos, save games and dehacked patch files
Currently completed engines, (well, sans cvars):
  • ZDoom
  • Skulltag
  • GZDoom
  • Zandronum
ZDaemon and Odamex are odd ducks. It's gonna take me some time to figure out all the available options. Profiles for each engine are gonna be last after I'm finished with ZDaemon and Odamex.

So I've been trying to use this - sidestepped the issue with Avast! recognizing it as malware - but now I need Qt5Core.dll, and have no idea which one this was built against. I tried a couple from the installer up there (which was a tedious process to work out itself because it doesn't actually install compiled libraries unless you explicitly tell it to) but it seems I also need VCRUNTIME140_APP.dll. Complete list of dependencies so someone can actually test this kthx?

Download links updated.

-=[EDIT]=-
I know this isn't running on Windows 10, but it should work on Windows 7.

Link updated.

All ZDoom functionality should be working properly.

Can user defined player classes have spaces in them or not? Same question for demo names.

Yeah, that's in there so I can test on different systems. It's just informing you that you're using Windows. It'll be removed.

Ah. Well other than that, it seems to be working as intended so far! I'll keep testing it further.

Download link updated. Everything but ZDaemon and Odamex is done, except for a general feature or two.
