Doom:1944 would be a personal prequel of classic Doom serie,set during the world war two,in a german castle.The protagonist is a RottenFurher called Eckhart Blummstein,sole survivor of an horrible incident happened in castle Neuswanstein.

The mod will include:

17 maps(plus one secret)set in three different scenarios(Main Castle,underground laboratories,hell)
Arsenal from the world war two like the classic MP40,Kar98k,Mg42 and Stg44,plus a secret weapon findable in hell)
Classic enemies from the DOOM saga,but with new attacks plus the add of nazi's zombies instead of U.A.C. Zombie(naturaly)
I want make the style of this mod very similiar at DOOM 64,using dark rooms,music from D64 or PSX Doom,creepy ambient sounds and lights effects(GLDEFS)

Probably a demo will release after maked the third level.

The wavering guns reminds me of Shut Up and Bleed. Is this going to be a survival horror-styled mod or is just the classic action? Also, shouldn't the title say Doom: 1944?

I think the gun wave at least on the pistol may be a litle extreme - he looks scared as hell!

As much as i love WW2,i have yet to see a wad set in WW1,unless there is indeed one already out there on the internet.

Might be because of that Battlefield 1 hype,but i seriously think it would be sweet to see something WW1 related too.

As for this wad,cant wait to see what you have cooken up for us.

This looks amazing. Atmospheric wads are always a favorite of mine, I'm digging all of the weapon sprites.

Yeah,i found it from Wolfenstein:Operation Eisenfaust-legacy.I thought was pretty idea use this sound instead of classic's luger sound from RTCW or Call of duty 2

i discarded a wwii project not too long ago... if there is something i can do to help, i have some discarded sprites, a resized rott mp40, medikits, and stuff. the main objetcive was to do a game only with russian and german weapons.

Are there any situations on the maps were you can see other nazi's blasting demons only to get overrun just before you turn up? especially at the start, that would do wonders for mood building.

AI Showcase of the first enemy i build for the mod.
Zombies with luger are weak,but they can perform really fast movement that will test you're aim.Plus they can bit you if you're close.
