I replaced the mage's flechetts with trip mines and they are so much more use full and play into the mages "deal damage from a safe distance" thing.

The time bombs aren't really strong either, or their explosion radius is lower than I would expect. If perfectly positioned, it almost kills sabreclaws; it only takes 1-2 hits from the wand to finish them off.
