It looks great so far although the trailer is kind of off slightly when it comes to the narrator. I can't wait to see salad fingers in this I'm all up for david firth providing some of the work.

Which trailer? I know our 2014 trailer, which has largely been completely replaced, wasn't the greatest. The ones after that I think were decent...

This reminds me a lot like Blood, which is very cool. Have you played Blood before and since you work for a gaming company do you happen to know about the progress of the Blood source code release as well as who owns the rights?

That's a shame about the original mod can't be released, but it's cool that this is a completely original indy game!
I heard Atari or Warner Bros, and Jace Hall, Blood's original producer tried to cut a deal for them to release it, and they were asking for like 20 million $ for it, which is absolutely insane since they aren't touching it, but it's impossible to buy.DemonSlayer wrote:This reminds me a lot like Blood, which is very cool. I'm also wondering what the main character backstory is. I'm having guesses such as her being related to caleb in someway like maybe a daughter of his.

No, she is a completely original character.
Funnily enough, in early drafts, she was indeed the daughter of the two main characters from Blood. There are still hints of Caleb (some one-liners) and her mother in-game is indeed named Ophelia, but this is not made explicit as it is only a passing mention.
Really, it is meant to be interpreted as stand-alone, with homages more than anything.
