I'm really digging the visuals, though it's quite funny how the Doom monsters seem more and more out of place.

Big plans afoot, my brother. Big plans.

And thank you for your kind words about the look of the game.

[Incidentally, this thread was correctly moved from Mods to TCs and Other Projects. But it's now been moved to Levels. The plans for this project are to change everything, making it more a TC than a "regular" project. Would one of the mods please move this back to TCs etc? Thanks.]

Well, colour me intrigued then. :D What kind of setting and monster designs are you going for with this project, I wonder?

This game builds upon an existing 5-map game I had developed in 2000, named Temple of the Ancients. That game had the following environments:

1. Military Base
2. Medieval
3. Caverns/lava

Temple of the Ancients: Redux has those same maps, which have been updated to current GZDooM standards. In addition, it will have 5 new maps (3 of which have already been completed) in the following environments:

1. Snowy/medieval cathedral
2. Snowy/caverns/medieval
3. Mountains/lakes
4. Underwater city/lakes

I am already implementing completely new weapons & models. In addition, I am looking to create new enemies (i.e., including new behavior).

So, there you have it in a nutshell.
